Organisations often ask for software when the weaker layer is infrastructure. Unstable networks, absent backups, unclear access control, and unowned support are the failure points a new application exposes rather than fixes.
That is why the environment is audited before a deployment model is recommended: what exists today, what is genuinely at risk, what hosting is realistic for the budget, and who is accountable when something breaks.
The audit is not a delay. It is the difference between a launch that holds and a launch that has to be repeated.
