Your website is infrastructure, not a brochure
6 min read
A public site earns its place when it explains the offer, captures demand, and feeds the systems that run the business.
Most organisations treat a website as a brochure: a page that describes what they do and then waits. The organisations that win work treat it as infrastructure — the front layer of the system that runs the business.
That means a visitor can understand the offer, compare packages, request a quotation, apply for training, and inspect evidence without a phone call. Each of those actions lands where the team already works: enquiries, quotations, projects, and support.
The test is simple. If an enquiry arrives and nobody can say where it went, the site is a brochure. If it arrives with its context and a named owner, it is infrastructure.
